| Joe Frank Ferguson III, a pioneer of western swing who played with two of the genre's best-known bands - Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys and the Light Crust Doughboys - died Wednesday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 86. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Mount Olivet Funeral Home, 2301 N. Sylvania Ave., in Fort Worth. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. To hear Joe Frank sing "Marie" Click below |
